Developmental Hockey

The WCSC offers hockey classes for beginners ages 3-18 in the months leading up to the start of hockey season (June-September) and a spring program (March-May). Information about upcoming programs will be posted here once registration opens.

All beginner hockey players are encouraged to take at least one session of Learn To Skate to become acclimated to the ice and begin practicing on Open Skate sessions. Stick & Puck sessions are open to beginners once they feel comfortable practicing on their own with other hockey players of varying skill levels, wearing full gear and handling a puck.

For the months September-March all beginners are encouraged to register for Weber County Youth Hockey at their age group to participate in USA Hockey sanctioned practices and games. Ice Hockey groups all players by birth year with skill levels divided by team registration.

Our next program for Beginner Ice Hockey players Age 3-18 is beginning: June 29th. More Info to come.

Beginner Adults are invited to register for our on-going ODL program that accepts new players quarterly. Contact ODL program coordinator Rob Werner directly for next available session and price:  rmwerner@comcast.net
